Experiences for free
In Køge there are many free experiences to gain.
Be your own tour guide and explore Køge’s old town centre.

Study sculptures, art and museums
Marvel at the large model ships inspired by real ships from the 17th and 18th centuries. You can also see the workshop where the ships are built. Admission is free, and opening hours are Tuesdays and Thursdays between 9 AM to 2 PM.
Spread around the town of Køge, you will find several works of art. If you are practising art or just take an interest in art, you will get a lot of inspiration by studying these works. See an overview of the works (in Danish).
Nature experiences
One of Denmark's largest collections of rhododendrons. The park is open to the public on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 2 to 6 PM. Entrance from Gl. Ringstedvej.
