Køge Municipality, Visit Køge, and Knud Nielsen from the Danish Cyclists' Federation have put together 8 suggested routes, 'On two wheels in the Køge area.' The routes vary from 6 km to 45 km, and cover different parts of the municipality. Routes and GPX files can be found on udinaturen.dk, though descriptions are in Danish.
Vallø Castle itself is closed for visitors, but you can visit the castle courtyard (10 AM–6 PM). The park is open to the public from 8 AM to sundown, but bicycles must be parked in the parking lot. Dogs are welcome if kept on a leash.
